Does ALKAYAN work with companies only?

Yes. ALKAYAN's model is built for companies, factories, facilities and organisations that run a defined purchasing process (quotation request, then purchase order). That lets us handle recurring orders and operational quantities rather than single-unit retail sales.

What types of products can you supply?

We cover PPE and safety equipment, maintenance and operations supplies (MRO), electrical supplies and tools, facility and cleaning supplies, office supplies, packaging, and site and construction supplies. Availability of each specific item is confirmed in the quotation.

Can I request a product that isn't in your categories?

Yes — that's our Special Sourcing service. Send the product name, code, part number, a photo of the item or the datasheet, and our team will look for suitable supply options or technically equivalent alternatives and present them before pricing.

How do I request a quotation?

Use the Request a Quote form on this site, or send your requirement list by WhatsApp or email. The form is fastest because it captures everything the team needs to price the request on the first pass.

Can I upload an RFQ or BOQ file?

Yes. The form accepts PDF, XLS, XLSX, DOCX and CSV files up to 10 MB each. If you have several files, send the main one through the form and the team will request the remaining attachments when they reply.

What information do you need for an accurate price?

The item description or code, quantity, technical specification or size, delivery location, and the required date if you have one. The clearer the specification, the fewer revision rounds on the quotation.

Do you handle recurring corporate supply?

Yes, we support repeat orders — whether monthly or tied to an operating cycle. A fixed item list can be agreed, priced and supplied on a regular basis; the specifics of that arrangement are set with the sales team based on your consumption pattern.

Can we register ALKAYAN as a vendor?

Yes. Send us your company's vendor registration form or the documents you require, and our team will complete and return them. Which documents we can provide is confirmed against your organisation's requirements.

Which areas do you deliver to?

We cover all of Egypt. Greater Cairo and the industrial zones close to it — 10th of Ramadan, 6th of October, Borg El Arab and Sadat City — are fastest simply by proximity. Delivery to more distant governorates is equally available; the lead time and freight cost are set out in the quotation according to the delivery location, shipment size and the nature of the items.

Do prices include VAT?

Prices in our quotations are exclusive of VAT unless expressly stated otherwise. VAT is added to the invoice at the rate prescribed by Egyptian law at the time of issue, and appears as a separate line rather than being folded into the item price, so the breakdown is clear for your accounts team. Each quotation also states the supply terms, how long the quote remains valid, and any freight or installation charges that apply.
